OT: Edmond Chamber Women's Network Breakfast

Just curious if anyone here attends that.  I am one of the speakers this week and getting nervous about it!

What are you speaking about?  Public speaking is one of my biggest fears! 

I do a lot of public speaking and love it once I get past thinking about my size.  I am a survivor of the 1995 bombing so many of my talks revolve around the lessons I learned through facing that event.

I would love to hear you speak!  You ought to put your speech on your profile.  I would like to hear about your experience with the federal building bombing.  I just read a book that had some chapters about the nurses in OKC who took care of the injured.  It was "Tending Lives" by Echo Heron.

It is this Thursday but I wouldn't wi**** upon anyone to come because it starts at 7:30 AM!! I normally don't get so nervous before speaking but the Edmond chamber.....well....I guess I can say this because no one on her belongs....well....they are total snobs.  I look out in the audience at a bunch of barbie dolls, seriously.  It really shouldn't be too bad because I won't be the only speaker.  Two years ago I followed Linda Cavenaugh and if that isn't pressure I don't know what is.  This year it will be me and two other survivors so I only have about 10-15 minutes.  Honestly, I don't know why I spend a week worrying over 10-15 minutes.   Why should I care if a bunch of barbie dolls are judging me.
