Anybody see RNY on 60 Minutes tonight?

Thanks for the link, Rita! I didn't see it as I was watching 48 hours mystery that we'd tivo'ed.

I was set on the lap-band until I went to my docs education class.  That was the first time that I heard about VSG.  My mother and my sister both had RNY,(one did really good, and the other was horrible)  and I was considering it, but I was a cash pay.  That is what made my mind up.  Also, with RNY there is more dumping, and I just didnt feel comfortable having my intestines cut.  (But for some strange reason I was ok with my stomach being removed)  hmmmm.  Anyway, your surgeon will discuss with you your options and whatever route you choose, just remember has to be what is best for you., Good Luck Karen
