Anyone in the Lawton area?

I was wondering if there are any support groups here in the Lawton area?  I would love to go to the ones that my doc has but being as gas prices have gone up so much and we have to pay a toll to any way out of this town, I am looking for one here.  It is just too expensive for me to drive to Wichita Falls for a meeting.

OWLO (Oklahoma Weight Loss Options) has support groups that meet in Ardmore and Ada. Are those closer for you?

I know they are also starting up more support groups at various places. I'll try calling the office tomorrow and see if there is anything in Lawton. I'll post when I find out.

Thank you very much, that would be great.  I dont know exactly where those towns are but it tells me 2 hours away.  Still a little far for me especially when i have two tolls to pay each way just to go north of me.

Hello!  Dr. Warnock has a Support Group that meets in Lawton every third Saturday of the month.  They just met yesterday actually.  The Leader is Jeanette Duema and she works at Ay**** and Snell Allergists in Lawton.    You can reach her there...she is AWESOME!  There are also ALOT of Dr. Warnock's patients here in Lawton...I am one!  Hope that helps...

I am in Lawton. I am always out of town when they have the Lawton support meetings. I will check and see when the next one in Wichita falls is and you can ride with me..
