May 10-Horseback Riding and Tigers!!!!

Keep May 10 open to meet at Lake Murray Stables for some riding and then a trip up 1:35 to the Tiger Refuge.  

If you aren't up for riding, but want to see the tigers, we'll coordinate. (DAN DAN DAN)

(Or, if you want to ride but don't want to see the tigers that's ok too....)

I am up for riding if they can find me a Clydesdale to hold me up, lol.

Will you be 6 weeks out?   I knew someone who went mountainbiking at 6 weeks out.

I am starting into my 4th week today.  So yes that weekend would be exactly 6 weeks out.

I haven't been on a horse since I was 10 years old and that is a long time ago.  Post all the info.  Sounds like fun!  Maybe we Tulsans can meet up and either carpool or caravan there.  I'm not usre where I am going.  I've only been an Okie for 4 years. Michelle

Wow, sounds like alot of fun.  A couple of questions though.... Is this for people who have horses or are there horses there to ride?  If so, then how much?  The tigers sounds pretty cool too... does it cost to get into the refuge?

There are horses to rent-I don't have a horse either (poor poor deb...) but somewhere there is a horse that is saying "thank GOD that big old gal didn't have me last year..."

I feel great....It has been awhile also since I last went horse back riding (I think something like 17 years or so, pretty much since I gained weight and all) but I am so looking forward to going.  Just let me know the information and all and at least I will be there, if not my family as well.  It would be funny to see my hubby on a horse, I dont think he has ever been on one. Look forward to it and thanks again....

I just re-relocated to the Tulsa area last week.  Used to live here, moved off and now am back!  I would LOVE to go riding at the park!  I haven't ridden in 8 years, but do raise horses.  I looked at the Lake Murray Stables web site and it says that rides leave each hour............don't know how far it is from here, but I'm gonna find out.  Are any Tulsan's going that way and would like to Carpool?  I've got a car that will seat 4 and am a good driver!  Or, could ride with someone else if they have room.   Let me know! Just wanted to say that I really like your horse.  We raise horses too (not sure I can technically say that I left everybody open this year) and one reason I'm doing this is so I can show again in riding classes and not just halter (or to not be out of breath by the time I'm done with my trot through!)
