Support Liz M
Liz, you will be just fine. Your dr is great and the nurses will all take care of you. Rita will make sure everyone treats you like a queen just as they did me. Remember to take your GasX strips because they will become your best friend over the next few days after surgery. Just remember we have all been nervous prior to surgery and that is normal. It is also normal to be excited about the changes your body will be making over the new few months. It is all good. We are all rooting you on and will enjoy seeing you after surgery and watching your progress. Just take a deep breath, think happy thoughts, and drift off and when you wake up it will all be over and you will be losing weight and getting healthier. My prayers and best wishes are with you on Monday. I will come by Tuesday evening if you are still there. I don't remember how long they keep vsg patients. I'll be at the lap band support group Tuesday evening.

Liz:
I am sending you many blessings and prayers for your surgery and after! We all have been through the feelings you are going through. They are perfectly normal and if you were not having them, I would be more concerned!
You know you can contact me if you ever need anything! I have sent my cell # to Rita so she has it if you need anything! I will wander by sometime Monday evening to check on you.
Just remember you have some of the best surgeon's hands working on you!! They are the BESTEST!!!
Hugs!!

THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
Liz, I'm here to cheer you on. As everyone has said, you are in excellent hands and the staff is wonderful. I'm excited for you, and I was scared too when they came to get me.
Remember that we are here when you have questions, concerns or joys to share. I can't tell you how much I'm loving life these days.
Prayers and good thoughts going up for you.
