My denial letter
I hate to admit this but...I have not really been trying to lose a lot of weight because then I would be under the required weight for insurance approval. I have been toning and trying not to gain anything. I discussed this with my PCP when the 12 month appointments started and he said due to medical issues that I would not be able to lose enough weight without having surgery so...I just try to maintain. It's hard because I'm only 20 pounds over the requirment of the excess 100 pounds (I'm 120 pounds overweight ) and I can't go 1 pound under the requirement the entire year or my insurance will not pay their part.

I think I was tired from subbing the day of our last meeting and since they said Dr. Worley canceled, I decided not to drive down there that day. I plan on going to the next meeting though.
Did I miss anything interesting??
Should I try to send in an appeal letter now or wait until after my 6 mo diet? I don't want to use up all of my appeal tries!!!

Keep plugging away. I finally just said to heck with it and went self pay because the mind games the insurance co plays-was just absurd. My doctor didn't take proper notes during the 7 month diet I was on? I had to have a medically (dr.) supervised exercise plan? It was all just too much for my head and debt is easier to deal with than that BS. (pardon my french).
