Where can I find SF and FF yogurt?

I am looking for yogurt that is sugar free and fat free at the same time. I have scoured Wal-Mart and Braums, and both of these have way too much sugar in them.  I'm wanting to find this pronto so I can start blending heaven in my Bullet. I'm ready to go except for the yogurt.  Is there some other ingredient instead?? I'm new at this smoothie thing, but I really want to make some. I bought my protein powder and have the other ingredients. Can somebody help me??

Charlotte, I don't think that you are going to find that anywhere. I haven't ever run across it. There are a few brands that are lower in sugar but I can't remember which ones. There are tons of protein shake recipes on the web. Most of them don't use yogurt that I have seen. Rita

I just used plain unflavored yogurt and add my own flavors.  Dannon Free is sugar free/fat free, and homeland has one-bluebunny light.

I like the Blue Bunny Light yogurt.  It has no fat and only 7 or 8 grams of sugar per 6 oz. serving.

Thanks, guys. I can't find a store that carries the Blue Bunny Light or the Dannon. Where do you all shop? Also, gonna make smoothies without the yogurt until I find it.

Cat, I use 4oz of either 1% milk or fat free milk to make my shakes.  I also put some SF/FF jello pudding mix to cut the flavor of the protein and make the shakes richer.  I think I am going ot make a chocolate suisse mocha shake this morning using Horizon FF milk, SF suisse mocha instant cappuchino mix, chocolate protein powder and ice.  I like my shakes thick! I get bluebunny at homeland.

For thick shakes, add a little bit of canned pumpkin-it really doesn't change the flavor and adds fiber and texture.

I get Blue Bunny Light yogurt at Reasor's but I think they're just in eastern Oklahoma.

My nutrtionist say that the "light" yogart is okay to eat because I questioned her on the amount of sugar in them - but she said that it is a different - how I don't know - but I went with what she said !!
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.
