Mini- WOW Moment
Before my surgery I was taking about 40 units of insulin 2-3 times a day plus 13 oral medications for a wide variety of different medical problems associated with diabetes. Since surgery I have been able to stop all oral medications and reduce insulin to about 10 units twice day. Which is something that I have NOT been able to say since I was about 16. I can't really feel or see (even on the scale) that I have lost very much weight, but as long as my duahgter does not have to watch me inject myself with insulin 2-3 times a day. ALL IS WELL
That is great WOW moment! It is amazing how quickly you were able to come off of many of your medicines. Your daughter seeing mom getting healthy is one of the best things about the surgery. Don’t worry about the scale. I did not weigh myself the first two weeks, but I could tell I was losing and the biggest thing was how much better I felt after those first 2 weeks. Now, each day I feel like I am gaining more and more of my life back. Surgery was truly a blessing
Awesome WOW Moment!!! It is crazy how much our bodies change even immediately after surgery!! I came home on much less medications than when I went in on! And within 2 months of surgery was completely off all my maintenance medications!
And NO wow moment is a mini-wow moment! Shout it out!! That's how it works missy!!
YIPPEE for you!

That is AWESOME news. I bet you already feel better getting that medication out of your system. Keep up the great work and you will med free before you know it. Congratulations!!!
