I was so excited going in today for my two week consult.  When I stepped on the scales I about teared up.  After 4 days of pre-op liquids, and 14 more days of the post op liquid diet I have lost a whopping 45 pounds.  I am at a loss for words I am so happy.  Dr.Gorospe said my incisions are healing wonderfully and he couldnt ask for me to be doing better.  Now I just need to start getting my protein in cause i have really been lacking on it.  I go back in a month for blood work to see if I have any malnutrition.  I am going to go dance in the streets now.

Congratulations Dan!!!  You are doing a GREAT job.  It won't be long before you can move on to soft foods but don't over do it at first.  I can't wait to see a new avatar showing your big loss.  Take care of yourself and keep up the great work.  It won't be long before you have one of those gold century cards.
