Hello Dear Friends, As I have shared with you here before, my husband is very ill.  He had a bad spell on Monday, and collapsed on the kitchen floor.  Unfortunately, I was at school that morning and I knew as soon as I walked in the house something wasn't right.  You know how you can just tell - you can feel it?  Thank God he is doing better today, although he remains extremely tired.  Please continue to hold us in prayer. Yesterday, we received word that a good friend of ours is in the hospital.  She has been having seizures.  The drs. now believe she has a brain tumor. It will take more tests to determine if it is benign or malignant.  Her name is Karen and she and her DH have four children.  The youngest of whom is a special needs child and is very confused as to what has happened to his Mom.  We are all trying to stay positive.  Would you all please include Karen and her family in yours prayers too?   It has been a rough week and I continue to just ask God to prepare me for whatever lies ahead.  But I have to admit that sometimes I get so scared. Thank you so much.  I thank God each night for all the wonderful compassionate people I have found on this board. Have a blessed weekend! Pam

Pam, I'm sending prayers your way for your family and for Karen and her family.  God is the closest when we are going through trials and through these trials we grow closer to Him.  Each trial strengthens us and reminds us that we live in a fallen world and to make us look forward to our eternal lives with Him.  There we will not have pain, sickness, tears, or sin.  What a great time we Christians will have when we see our Father face to face. May God bless you and allow you to feel his arms wrapped around you and your family at this time.  Please keep us informed as to how both your husband and Karen are doing.  You're always welcome here any time.  We really do care and will surround you with some good Okie love and prayers.

Pam, I'll be increasing the prayer intensity on your family's behalf, and Karen and her family too. I also pray that the lord will keep his arms around each of you so that you feel His comfort, love, and peace in your heart.
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

Pammie - there is nothing more that I can say that hasn't already been said better here.  But please know that your Oklahoma folks will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.  What a terrible week but please know that God is holding you close during this very difficult time.

I can't say it any better than Wy did. So, I'll just say "ditto" from me, too.
