Shiritaki Tofu Noodles

I found them at Akins and at The health  food center  store on I-240 and Penn. I was afraid to try them because I hate tofu, however they looked good. They are only around $1.79 for a bag. You can order them online but they have to stay cold enroute to your house. They are worth a try. It was like having pasta all over again. Rita

I love tofu stuff, but I thought those tasted like butt!

YOU ARE BRAVER THAN ME I HATE TOFU BUT I TRUST YOU

I might give those a try.. I do love pasta and I figured it was just something I wouldnt be able to enjoy post op.. I am cutting back on it now..kinda weening myself off..?? lol.... I have never , that i know of, eaten tofu.. my daughter tried it.. she has a vegetarian friend.... and she was not liking it at all.. lol..  funny story to that actually.. the friend had NEVER eaten meat.. EVER.. and she traded denise a bite of a burger for a bite of her tofu whatever it was.. I think a salad of some kind. Denise didnt like it.. but survived.. about 30 minutes after the friend ate that bite of the burger she was headed home.. sick sick sick.. was out of school for 2 days.. they were freshmen then and those are the only 2 days that girl has ever missed school.. I do not think she has ever eaten meat since then.

I hate tofu, but these were much different. Just be sure and rinse it real well because it is packaged in water.

I don't like tofu at all but I am willing to give these a try.
