Prayers and Crossed Fingers
Hi Michelle. I grew up in Ada and all my family still lives there. I was in the same boat as you prior to my lap band surgery and I went completely on liquids until my next appointment and ended up 8 pounds less than where Dr. B told me to be or he would cancel my surgery if I wasn't there. I wasn't going to take a chance on that. The Bariatric drinks they have there at Weight Wise are pretty good for the most part. My favorites are the Pro to Go Chocolate drink, the Wild Passion Berry drink, and the Hot Chocolate drink and lots of water, SF popsicles and flavored water. You will be surprised at how fast the weight comes off.
I wish you the best in getting to your surgery date.

That sounds like the one I was on to get rid of the last few pounds. Keep lots of water type drinks going with those also so you won't be to hungry. Get in as much exercising as you possibly can during this time it will make you reach your goal and it will make it much easier to get up and walk after your surgery and during your recovery.
Hang in there and I know you will make it and be on the loser's bench with me. I will save my "home girl" a seat next to me. We Ada people have to stick together..
