i am truly blessed

This week has been a great one for me ,,,,,I saw Dr. G on Monday , he told me i have lost 49% of my excess weight , i am over halfway there !!!!!    I have been having low blood pressure for the past couple of weeks, I went to my PCP today and i went off my med.  I have taken med. for 20 years !!!!!!  I even had a sinus infection and i didnt even care I was so happy .  I just feel so blessed to have such caring doctors and support from you guys .  Thank you

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!  Isn't this surgery such a blessing?  I was on 16 meds, now down to just my vitamins.  People do not understand that this surgery is so NOT about looking skinny...it is about being healthy in your own skin.    GOD BLESS!!!

It is absolutely about being healthy , I really want people to understand that !!!  I never realized how bad i really did feel until i have experienced being 50 lbs lighter ,,, the benefits to your physical and mental health are just too numerous to mention!!!!

I am so proud of you, sorry I didn't get to text you back the other day from work.  I got busy.  Well I went to see Dr. G on Tuesday, and he didn't measure me, lol.  Yeah!!!  He said I was looking great and doing great, and asked if I would volunteer to come to the next seminar, it's on June 10th, so they signed me up.  I will have blood tests done next week, I have to fast before my panel is done. I only have one more week and I will be off my meds, just hope my pressure stays alright.   I don't think I am going to that seminar, its an all  day thing on a Saturday, I love my saturday's too much. I know I should do it for me, I will let you know if I change my mind though.   Talk to you soon. Brenda

Luanne!!  THAT IS AWESOME!!  It really brings things home when you compare how you felt before to what you feel now.  I am in total agreement!!  Two years ago I could not imagine feeling as good on a daily basis as I do now!! You are doing awesome and you will continue to do so!!  The blessings just keep flowing!!! R

That's great!!!  My blood pressure was hanging around the "new" high that was previously considered borderline and I knew I was really close to being put on medication....now it's really good.  I was thinking just tonight about how much better I feel.  I am starting to have energy to do things when I get home from working all day.  Before I lost 80 pounds, I would work and come home and veg out!  Now, I work in the garden, clean, and I have to get my bike to Al's for it's tune up so I can start riding!!

Great Job Luanne. That is fantastic. I haven't taken my blood pressure or cholesterol medication since surgery. It is an awesome feeling, and think of all the money we are saving. God Bless, Rita
