Holy cow! We got hammered with rain last night (as I am sure everyone else did). Apparently our house is in a very low lying area and the ditch is too overgrown for things to drain properly. We had standing water in our garage (where some of our things still are being stored from moving..eeeekkk!!!) and a pond in the front and back yard. Luckily my hubby sandbagged the garage because the water outside the garage was over the sandbags. There was actually what seemed like a river flowing over the front lawn. Did everyone else manage to ride it out okay???

I hope all your stuff in the garage is OK. We got 4.5 inches of rain....streets in and around town were flooded. But thankfully, we're out in the country on a hill....but there are standing puddles everywhere on this hill. ; )
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

Yikes!  You guys really did get a soaking last night.  Hopefully, the losses won't be too heavy. Up here in Michigan, we have very unstable weather.  Today is calling for thunderstorms and then snow over night.  On top of more snow, we just went thru a winter with the highest snowfall levels every recorded here.  I am sure ready for some April showers! Everybody have a good day! Pam
