Business Casual Meets PostOp RYN'er

So I work in a sales position.  Our work attire is business casual.  Pre-op, I had all of the clothes I could need to work in!  Luckily, my boss is understanding, and allows me to wear jeans a few days out of the week, since all of my slacks fall off!  I never have a problem determining what is too big.  My coworkers NEVER fail to let me know I look rediculous!  They have laid down the law on several pairs of slacks, and shirts as well already.  I started in a size 26 in February, this year.  The pants I have on today are 22's, and they have been officially declared trash, by the work posse.  My absolute fav jeans, my Jessica Simpson's, were declared trash on Friday.  I was DEVASTATED!!!  LOL.  So, I have a few pairs of 20's that I purchased from Old Navy, and the Gap, that probably fit.  I've just been too scared to try!!  I guess now I don't have a choice.  It's just so crazy to be that close to being out of the 20's!  It's been so long.  I havent been at the weight I am now since 2002.  It's an amazing feeling.  This weekend, I started the Couch Potato to 5K training.  I thought I was going to DIE, but I made it!!!  YAY!  Oh, another wow, for me, when I lay in the tanning bed, the lid doesn't touch my body anymore!  Crazy weird, but cool!

What is the Couch Potato to 5K training? Congrats on the baggy clothes. I  have had the same experience.  My 17 year old daughter will say, "You can't wear THAT!"  I have been taking up everything that I am capable of taking up on my sewing machine...but I can't do jeans or really silky tops.  I haven't been at my current weight since 1989!!! OMG!!!  THAT'S CRAZY.

Thanks!! I really can't imagine me running...even for a few seconds! Stuff would be flapping all over the  place!!! OMG did I  just say that????  But I would love to run again.  I actually have had nightmares that one of my kids was injured and I couldn't run to get help.......awful

I suggest taking your clothes to a seamstress and have her take up your business clothes...I have taken up all my clothes just to safe money and I hate to shop.  Also check out the clothing exchange you can find alot of businees and casual clothes there. Good luck and congrats

Hijack means you're taking the post/thread in a new direction or interrupting to say something else.
