Keeping my hands busy...

As many of you know, I'm still in the pre op diet phase, but I have noticed that if I get bored I want to eat, so I've decided to get back into latchhooking and color by numbers...I know I'm a dork, but it's ok, does anyone know anywhere to get the kits for these? I've checked hobby lobby and michaels, and of course ebay, but is there anywhere in the city that sells them, or just crafts in general? I would appreciate it.

I saw latchhooking kits at Han**** Fabrics on 74 and Penn.

I saw some latch hooking kits at Hobby Lobby on S. Western just last week.  Don't know about the paint by numbers though.  I agree with you. Don't get bored.  After church, I spent the day in the yard...weeding, laying a brick "floor" for the gas grill off my back patio etc. I cleaned inside a little but I have more fun outside. I love spring and summer!!!  Good luck on keeping busy.

Honestly, I have never cleaned my house this much since I've lived here, I spent almost all weekend fixing little things and cleaning random stuff, and not to mention throwing away anything that I don't need, it's amazing how much room I actually have lol. SO do you guys know anyone that likes leopards? I've started working on a big latch hook leopard, and I have no idea where it's going to go once it's finished...And I never thought about Han****s, I'm gonna have to go by there. Thanks

keeping busy is hard when your home alone and no one to mess up the house.. I have to admit since I am "dieting" my house is clean. at least when the kids are not home.. they are like little tornados when they are home. I have even gotten some plants.. and they are still alive.. i have never kept a plant alive over a couple weeks.. i have had these for a couple months! i have even named the one in the house Chloe.

lol, Chloe is a good name. I have inherited my mom's anti-green thumb, I mean, she killed a cactus one time, and I'm not much better, I think I killed a plastic plant last year lol.

You can find paint by numbers at Wal-Mart actually.  My daughter likes to do those and that's where I get them. I don't know that they have a big selection, but they should have some.
