I'm so sad that I had to miss the support group meeting tonight. I came down with a bad cold and I am exhausted! Even missed work which I NEVER do! Hopefully my "book end sister" was there and took good notes for me. I was really hoping to meet some of you folks. Oh well, there is always 2 weeks from today! I plan to be there a lot. Hope you guys had a great meeting! Wishing for a surgery date, Kim

I had to miss too! Boo Hoo! I couldn't get away from work on time! I hate it! One of the docs was speaking tonight. Maybe I can manage to get off on time next time.

It was an awesome meeting, I've only been to two meetings now and I get so much support and information from everyone. Dr. B was great! I also love talking to all of the post-surgery people who tell it like it is! Ruth, you need to post a pre-op picture too!

My pre-op pictures bite!! When you weigh in - there is a picture of me on the wall in the weigh-in room or in the book in reception. It is awful!! I don't even want to remember that person! I'll see what I can do to put a before in the profile...I carry one in my purse, so let me know if you really want to see it. Blech!! R

Ruth, I remember seeing your picture now! Wow, you look great! I can only pray I might do as well as you...please God help me! I am almost out of clothes to wear! I can fit into all my smaller clothes now...in a week or two they will be baggy and in 3-4 I will have to get new ones or look like the bag lady!!! I wish I had been able to be there tonight. I'm really bummed! Oh well, there's always next time!

Diana: I have been attending both RNY/Sleeve groups for the last few months to ensure that we have a graduate there to help answer questions. So, I will be at graduate group on the 16th and then the 2nd RNY/Sleeve group the following week. Good practice for me becoming an OH support group leader too! R

Ruth---you would be an EXCELLENT support group leader!!! Is this online support or what is it? I am always amazed by graduates who give so much to those of us far behind them in the process. You are truly a wonderful person. I AM SURE YOU DON'T HEAR THANKS ENOUGH!!! SO----THANKS!!!
