I NEED SOME PRAYERS TODAY

Hi Dear OK Family, I am having a bit of a hard day today and would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. My husband has been very ill for the last 3 years.  He needs a liver transplant but so far that hasn't happened for us.  He has already survived past the time the doctors told us he would.  He has now begun to show signs of serious deterioration.  Very weak, has lost 50 lbs. + over the last 2 months, yet has a hardy appetite.  When I gave him a hug this morning, I could feel all his ribs and his spine.  But he is trying to maintain a positive attitude.  He now sleeps most of the time. Plus, I am in school and am trying to get ready for final exams and am having a hard time focusing on them because he is so on my mind.  We have been married for over 25 years and I cannot imagine my life without him.  I cry a lot but try not to do it in front of him as I don't want to add to his stress. Please pray for us that God will prepare our hearts for whatever may lie ahead.  Thank you all so much for your support and caring. Huggs, Pam

Pam, I am so very sorry to hear of your husband's illness. I will definitely be praying specifically for your family and for your husband. I'll also be praying for you and for you to be able to concentrate and have a peace in your heart during your tests. I'll also be praying for a successful transplant for your husband right away.
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

Prayers are being said as I type this to you! Just remember this little saying...God does not put more on us then what we can handle at any time. Turn your worry over to God and let him handle this for you. As far as your husband getting a new liver....its on its way just keep your faith in God and your trust in the Lord....
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
