WHATS GOING ON IN OK?

Hello Dear Okie Friends, What is your weather today?  If you have got sum sun and warmer temps just send em along to me. Can you believe that up here in Michigan we had more SNOW today?  Must be some sort of sick April Fools Day joke! I want some warm and sunny weather?  Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (See that little guy to the left?)  That's my teeth chattering from the cold! Huggs, Pammie -  Freezing In Michian

Hi Pammie.  It was pretty chilly here today also.  Our weather has been really chaotic lately.  We are having real extreme weather  such as 80's one day and 40's the next.  We had tornados here in Oklahoma City Sunday night into the wee hours of Monday morning.  We are expecting more bad stormy weather tomorrow the last I heard. Hopefully both our weather will start acting like Spring with mild temperatures.    I have never been to Michigan but would like to go to all 50 states in my lifetime.  I think I have around 13 more to go to and I will have them.  Most of the states that I lack are the very Northern ones.  My DH and I are planning on going to Alaska when I reach my goal.  That will be a great reward for doing that. Wynotha....Alaska...I'm SO jealous!!! Can you hide me in a suitcase??? he he he Yes, our weather is crazy lately! That's Oklahoma for you...others may say it but only Oklahoma earns it...IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WEATHER JUST WAIT A MINUTE AND IT WILL CHANGE!!! SNOW!!!  Yikes!!! I can't stand the cold!!!

Hey Diana, And I thought the only place that used that phrase about "if you don't like the weather just wait ...." was in Michigan.   I am sooooo anxious for warmer weather to arrive.  Espiecially because in Michigan the summertime lasts only a month or so.      Just kidding - its really at least a month and a half.  I really enjoy talking with all you friendly folks on the OK Board.  Seems that you are a little more active than the Michigan one, at least lately.  Maybe, its because up here its sooooo cold they can barely move their fingers to type.  Everyone have a good day! We were extremely close to the second tornado going through Edmond..rode it out in the floor until 3 am. Lost electricity at 1 that morning and it didn't come back till 7 as I was walking out the door feeling gross with no shower. Anyway, while we rode it out in the hall, my daughter was in her bathtub in Enid also riding out a tornado. Our electricity was off so long due to a substation or something going out..we heard BAM and that was it. Our lines are buried, so that wasn't the reason...when it went off I felt panicked because I was having flashbacks to the ice storm. Someday, I want to see Montana and Wyoming and North Carolina..
