Financing options for those without insurance coverage?

Well, after several months I've finally moved into my new house and am no longer living with the in-laws.  So my hunny and I can finally start focusing back on our low fat, high protein diet and taking our vitamins regularly.   So back to subject.  Do any of you not have insurance coverage?  How are you financing the surgery?  I am with Surgical Associates of Tulsa, have Dr. Fisher.  It was recommended by their finance office to get Care Credit, I was approved for $20,000.  Now I find out that the hospital that Dr. Fisher operates from doesn't even accept this payment type.  So now I have to locate a new finance option or make arrangements with the local hospital. HELP!! Please. Thank you,  Becky in Broken Arrow Hoping for RNY

I do not have insurance that will cover WLS, so I am cash pay.  The surgeon that I found has an all inclusive surgery for $13000.00.  Hope this helps

If you want to look for a hospital that takes Care Credit, Weight Wise in Edmond takes them, I am using Care Credit to pay for part of my surgery. Just so you know.

It's really odd that the don't accept CareCredit since it works like a credit card. I'm not sure what to advise. I'll keep you in my prayers!       Shelly

I went with Capital One to finance mine as my insurance company wouldn't cover the surgery due to previous  WLS patients having problems, or so they said. I know you're in Broken Arrow, but seriously, if you've been approved, come on over to Weight Wise. The docs and staff are awesome. I couldn't have done it without them all.
