Attention EVERYONE in OK..a word on your doc

Okay, I thought I had decided on my doc. I just am having a hard time swallowing what they charge per fill after your surgery. I am going to have the lapband surgery and my insurance won't pay for hardly anything. SOOOO, does anyone know of a doc around here that has a plan that includes X number of fills  with the surg? The doctor I am considering does 1 free after the surgery. I've heard of another doc (farther away than what I think I would like to travel) that gives fills free for the first 18mo!!! Anyway, come on everyone and let me know if you have heard of anything. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!

I believe at Weightwise the fills are included in the price for the first year.  Where are my lapband friends from WW?  In the early days that is what they were doing anyway.   R

Cricket could probably answer that question since she works there. I'm RNY and don't have info on the lapband.

At Weight Wise if you have a lapband you get free fills for one year. After that it is $150 per fill.

At the OWLO seminar, they said fill(s) are free for first 3 months, then it's $87 per fill. They are in Norman. Good Luck!    Shelly
