TICKED OFF AGAIN AT THE DR OFFICE

   I am so fusterated right now! I called today.. and what did she have done? not a dang thing! Ok I know they have other patients and are short handed. but this is stupid for me to have to wait all this time with the paper work sitting right there on her desk and she is to Busy to fax it in. I have been waiting  for so long its just not right that she cant take a few minutes to do what needs to be done. if she took all the time she has spent making excuses to me then she would have it done. wouldnt be easier to take a few minutes to do this than to keep having to give me excuses why its not done? I am thinking about calling Dr Phillips and complaining to him but it might make it worse. I dont know what to do. should I call him? should I call soonercare? I honestly think she thinks its no big deal because its a soonercare and they think it will get turned down! I beleive in my heart it will get okayed if it would just get turned in. i am so emotional over this right now that crying seems to be my favorite pass time. and to top it off something stung my foot this afternoon and its stinging like crazy! NOT a good day for me ok enough ranting. have a good day all

Bless your heart!  I would definitely ask to speak with this person's supervisor or the physician. There's no excuse for not getting paperwork done efficiently ....especially when someone's health is involved!  Push for your right to have your paperwork done in a timely manner! Keep calling! Be appropriate and don't get angry at whomever you speak with, but let them know that it's inappropriate to keep being delayed for no valid reason and that your are suffering!  I'll be praying for someone to get a boot and get to work for you!!!  I'll be praying for you and specifically this matter, too!     Shelly

((Hugs)) I think you should call the doctor or if he has one a patient advocate. There's no excuse for that behavior at all. She's supposed to be working for you, isn't she? Somebody needs to give her a good smack. Don't give up. Rant all you need to, girlfriend.

I'd also suggest keeping a running record of each date and time you've called and what this person's response has been. They need to be held accountable! I have always been nice.. maybe to nice? maybe i need to let me bad attitude kick in! I just am so fusterated. I will call tomorrow and then next day and the next day.. til something is done. i do know that tomorrow is the last time I ask to talk to maridth.. after that it will be the doc. its a small office , him and a couple girls so theres no avocate or office manager so to speak.

If I were you, I'd march myself over to that office and tell her that if she doesn't have time to fax the paper work, then offer to fax it for her! LOL  Maybe that will guilt her into doing it right then and there, plus she has to look at you face to face!

Sherrie, I didn't mean be *nice* , just appropriate. I know you've always been nice....I can tell by your posts. You know, some people take advantage of nice people. She's had her chance to respond to your being nice, and she's failed you. I just meant not to go in screaming all of a sudden or she will tune you out. However, being appropriately upset and having the facts of how many unexcused delays this person has done is excellent and factual. It should get results. I'd definitely go over her head ... to her supervisor or the surgeon ... just someone over her head to let them know she isn't doing her work!  There is no excuse for this. thank you all for your encouragement. i greatly appriciate it. i guess I am going to start anew tomorrow. first i will call her and if that doesnt produce results then i will talk to the doctor. i cant even see the surgeon until all this is filed and approved! I have done all the pre testing which I hope is good for the amount of time its taken to get this taken care of. god please no more phyc evaluations cause I dont think i could pass one today!

Sorry for all your delays. Do you have copies of all your paperwork so maybe you can call soonercare and fax it in yourself of just let them know all the excuses you have been having to deal with. Hope you have good news soon. crazy.eights
