Still No Word

I still have no word on insurance approval yet... Crystal at SA said that I should hear *something* by Tuesday (yesterday)...  Not necessarily approval or denial, but "how things are moving along." I called insurance yesterday and the lady I talked to said that it was in the system that *something* would be reported to SA yesterday...  No one called...  ME or SA! So, I called ins. again this morning and they replayed that broken record "It takes up to 30 days"...  I guess they sent in 137 pages of info on me, so "it takes time"  I got the same LISA that says that to me every time.  I'm sick of LISA!!  So, I called Crystal at SA and asked her to check on it for me.  She can talk to a different department than I can since they are the provider.  I always get the customer service and 90% of the time it is LISA! She called me back and said that KARLA (that's my sister's name and she spells it with a "K" so I do too!)  is her contact person and that she is in meetings all day today and she couldn't even get voice mail.  So, it will be Thurs or Friday before she will be able to get a hold of her. I'm subbing again on Thurs and Fri for the same 5th grade class I did yesterday.  At least I know when my "planning" period and lunch are.  I will call them again on my breaks.  If for some reason I can't, I'll get out of school around 3:30 so I will still have time in the afternoon before offices close. That is totally frustrating that they are keeping you in limbo! I hope you find out soon. All I can suggest is to keep calling and being the squeaky wheel. Maybe something will get done on their end!  You're in my prayers.     Shelly

Dot hun I am going to go to your insurance company personally and do some beat down if they dont get with it.  I am so upset that you are not going to be able to be a March birthday with me since you are one of the first folks I met on here.  I am still cheering for you to get that call.

Dot, I know it's frustrating but hang in there. About the time my husband and I gave up on it happening for us we both got our surgeries just one month apart.  It will happen for you too!!!
