Homemade broth?
I don't know for sure about this... So, your opinions are very welcome...
I have this recipe from weigh****chers for a French Onion Soup. I've made it ONCE and it was very good! If I remember right, the broth was clear. I'm thinking if you are on clear liquids, you could make it and strain the onions out, omit the french bread and cheese?? The onion flavor would make a HUGE difference in the yummy-ness of the beef broth!
WW French Onion Soup
1 tsp. unsalted stick margarine
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups low sodium beef broth
2 oz French bread, cut into two slices and toasted
1/3 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat broiler. In a medium saucepan, melt the margarine. Add the onion and cook, stirring as needed, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the broth; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered until the onion is very tender, about 3 minutes
2. Place one slice of the toast in each of two flameproof soup bowls; pour soup over the toast. Sprinkle each with the cheese and broil until the cheese is melted and lightly browned, about 1 minute. Serve at once.

You could also take beef or chicken broth, stick an onion, some garlic, a carrot and a tomato in it, cook for awhile then pull out the veggies and drink the broth.
A little shot of chili powder is wonderful, or some louisiana hot sauce. Trust me, after a while on clears anything salty will be heaven.
Once you are on full liquids, do the same thing, but intead of pulling out the veggies, run it through the blender-viola, "creme" soup without the fat.
