Happy Easter!  My new holiday rule is one treat on the day of if I want it.  It's the weeklong or month long celebrations that do te real damage.  But I still log the food, and lots of the times that alone slows me down.

We are going to Mimi's for lunch and my treat is likely going to be some corn chowder, which is a far cry from the bread pudding I would have ordered before, along with a meal.  My taster has definitely changed since being banded.

Happy Easter to you all. We're having ham and deviled eggs..this is my first attempt at making them. I'll let you know how they turn out! Instead of biting off the ears of chocolate bunnies, take a look at either the main board or the rny board (can't remember which one) and look at the thread labeled Peep Show. It's funny not bad.

Happy Easter.  For lunch we had baked bbq boneless/skinless chicken thighs, deviled eggs, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, macaroni salad and wheat rolls.  I only ate the chicken, 1 deviled egg, a teaspoon of the salads and no bread.  I'm pleasantly full and not overly stuffed.  Last year I would have been miserable.  We have nothing for dessert so I won't be tempted in that area.  But I love deviled eggs. Hope everyone has a great day.

. Happy Easter to everyone!  I went to church with my mom this morning, spent half of the rest of the day with her.  We ate out at a Mexican Restaurant in Coffeyville, KS where she lives. Came home, hunted eggs, and now Miranda is in a bad mood and crying (she stayed up too late last night and got up too early today, plus has probably had way too much sugar on top of that).  Josh has a headache (he thinks it is actually his Wisdom teeth bothering him -- I KEEP telling him to go to the dentist!!!!!)  So, he is in a grouchy mood (What's new??  UGH!!!) He got rear ended in traffic on March 12 and is wanting to get his car fixed and thinks he can't have more than one thing on his plate at a time, so he won't make an appointment to go to the dentist until his car is fixed (how stupid is that?)  And, I've been after him to get his eyes checked and get new glasses!!! Maybe he would be in a better mood if we can just get him all taken care of! OK...  This turned into MUCH more than I expected it to, but that just pretty much sums up my day since I've been back home :o( Dot
