I'll call the fellow at Draper tomorrow-but he was willing to give me lessons when I weighed 228 pounds, and I believe he has a mounting block (I'll check tomorrow, or maybe Monday, he may be closed tomorrow for Easter.
I'll also see if he has a round pen-if you haven't been on a horse in awhile, sometimes it helps to ride first in a round pen.
count me in too! i haven't been willing to hurt any horses either! i used to ride all the time - rental of course - and at the draper stables.
i so want to get back into getting into nature again! as long as i have my benedryl i should be good!!! and i have those new rockies to wear with my boots too!
yippee!!! we can do a picnic before or after too! i love you guys!!!

OMG.. that is so funny you would bring up horse riding, after watching my great neice ride her new pony yesterday. I had decided I wanted to start riding again, its been over 20 yrs. so I asked one of my daughters friends that if she would give me lessons after I have surgery. I never was a great rider but still enjoyed it. She said she would help me get back into the swing of it. she is such a great girl... I am excited to ride again.. now.. how do i get them to hurry with the surgery?
