For those of you who had their surgery at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Have any of you used Carecredit?  CapitalOne turned me down.  I've got to work fast. My surgery is on the 31st!

We used care credit for a portion of my sugery cost and I was turned down by capital one also. I barrowed some from my bank on a signature loan and put the rest on care credit. That worked for me. You should apply online and see what they say!!!!! I did it the day before surgery. Don't wait that long OK!!!

Did you have surgery at Saint Francis?  I just don't know if they work with hospitals or just doctor's offices.  If not Saint Francis, did they pay your hospital bill?  Thanks.

No I went to weight wise in Edmond. They have the hostpital right there and yes the hospital took the Care Credit. Call St Francis and ask if they take it. I think they work with both Doctor and Hospitals as long as they are set up to take care credit.

I think there's a listing on their website of many of the hospitals they work with. Not positive, but I think I saw it somewhere.  Shelly

We used CareCredit in the past for a veterinary emergency and surgery on one of our horses. Their approval process was simple and they were very easy to work with. We were able to pay it off in the 18 month time frame and were charged *0* interest. They have several plans to choose from. I enjoyed working with them and will do so again if necessary. Good Luck!    Shelly

I don't know what surgeon you are using, but on the surgical associates website, they mention care credit and they use St. Francis, so my guess is that if they mention it on their website, they take it and hopefully St. Francis takes it... Here is the link where I found it. http://www.surgassoc.com/planning_surgery.html

Just an FYI - I applied for my financing last night - started with Capital One and they approved me for the entire cost but at a RIDICULOUS interest rate - crazy!  So, I applied for Care Credit and got the entire thing approved there for a much lower interest rate.  Capital One said that when you finance it for 60 months, (which is what I'm doing - that's a lot of $$$) you will get a higher interest rate, but they would be happy to reduce the interest rate if I dropped it to 3 years!  Ha!  Anyway, I hope that your hospital takes CareCredit because they seem to be heads and tails above their competiton.  Good luck to you!

If I remember correctly when we used Care Credit with our vet, it was just like having a credit card in my purse. Once we were approved there was a maximum credit amount on the card and we used the card when we needed to pay the vet bills for our horse's surgery and recovery. We did not use all the credit we were approved for and were notified that we could use that at any other health care provider (human or veterinary doctor) if we chose. We didn't end up using any additional credit, but it seemed to be processed just like a credit card when we did. Hopefully your hospital will accept it as payment!  Shelly
