hey all
First thanks Phyllis for the note. I have been around and keeping up with you all on here. I have just been dumpy and didnt wanna bring others down. I have been back to work for 3 weeks now and I cant kick the nasuea.
I see Dr Pond last week and he said my weight loss is wonderful, but I am getting dehydrated so I have to go back this coming tuesday. If not anybetter then a trip downstairs to the ER I go. TO get hydrated and the electrolytes back in me. Well last weekend 2 days after seeing dr pond I came down with a cold. I got on some liquid tylenol cold medicine and have had liquid diareah on and off for the last week. I went to my local dr here and now a little depressed about how little so many know and are afraid of us. She told me she wasnt comfortable with giving me an antibotic since she wasnt sure what was good and bad for my pouch., So she gave me a steroid shot and put me on a steroid nasal spray. Worst case I see Dr Pond again Tuesday.
So this means if I need an antiobotic i will just get worse and spend easter in bed!!!!
I am having a hard time with food. Some days I can eat and the next I cant. I dont get hungry then I get nasueaed cause I havent eatten. I will be so glad when i am past all of this. I have been having days where I ask myself why and then I have to remind myself that I have lost 45 pounds and I have come a long ways, its just been a very mentally challenging 6 weeks.
Hope you are all wonderful.
Hugs to you all
(((((HUGS))))) I've been wondering about you. Sorry you are having a difficult time. I think we all go through that in some form or another. You have to stay hydrated even if you have to sip sip sip all day long. Have you talked to your surgeon about the nausea? Have you tried phenegren gel on your wrist? Seems to work good without the drowsy side affects. You take care of yourself. It's strange how what works one day doesn't work the next. It's all trial and error. My biggest problem is not waiting enough time in between bites. Hang in there. It will get better, Rita
