Amen to that, sister....

I'm glad you came over from the main board.  The Oklahoma board is very supportive.  Remember, with the lap band you will need fills periodically, so factor that into your cost equation.  Some people need more/frequent fills than others.  Also, you may have an occaisonal need for an unfill-I was just unfilled due to a really awful case of the stomach flu.

My advice is to find a doctor you really like and are comfortable with, so you will address any minor problems sooner rather than later, when they could become more serious.

I have heard great things about both. Just see which one you feel the most comfortable with.
