So i worked at a magazine plant called QuadGraphics before my surgery. I could barely make it through the 12 hour shifts. Well, on Wednesday of last week i went back for my first day after surgery. I lasted 2 HOURS before i had to say sorry but i need to quit. I couldnt handle it.  So now im looking for a job that wont hurt as bad. Anyone have any ideas?? Basically it was to much lifting at a fast pace. My incisions and stomach were hurting. Not to mention my back and knees like they always have. So i need some ideas. Im getting broke! Thanks in Advance.

Finally i'm almost healthy again. LOVE IT.

Depending on if you can put up with the BS and stress related (trust me I know a lot about both) call centers are a good paying job.  You dont have to do anything physical (although sometimes you want to get physical on customers).  The only downside is the emotional stress, it washes out a lot of people.  I have done customer service off and on for 13 years and I am downright sick of it. You might also look into being a cashier somewhere, even if just temporary.  Where ever you decide let them know up front that you have just had surgery and that you cannot (and should not) lift anything heavy.  Good luck

being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
