OK...  I tried another one of my samples that I bought from Vitalady...  It was Nectar Cappuccino and it was the most awful stuff I've ever tried to drink!!!  I did finally get it all down, but it was so horrible, I wouldn't wish this stuff on my worst enemy!!!!! So far, my favorite Nectar that I've tried is Fuzzy Navel. What has been your worst protein drink?

I'm a sicko, I like them all. It's important to find something that you enjoy, because pre op post op you're going to be miserable for awhile if you don't.

I'm with Deb, the ones I have tried have all been pretty good.  Granted some I like better than others, but on the whole have been good.  The only ones I drink and purchased at WeightWise so I haven't tried any others since I can get everything I need right there.

I don't like any of the protein drinks.  I don't like sweets, so I'm having a really hard time with the shakes and bars.  I guess my least offending shake is the cold drink from Weightwise that's called Raspberry Passion (I think) Too bad we couldn't have a shake swap! LOL

You should get some unflavored protein that you can add to soup or broth.  That way you can put it in salty things rather than trying to eat something sweet all the time. I have some "natural" designer whey stuff and I couldn't tell it was in there.  Unjury also makes a "unflavored"

My favorites there are Pro-To-Go Chocolate, Pineapple-Orange, and the Hot Chocolate.  The Very High Protein shake - Chocolate blended with ice is really good.  I'm not to hip on any of the soups though.  I do however like the sloppy Joe and the Veg Chili and can't wait until the 5th week to have it again. Right now, I'm on liquids so I'm going through several protein drinks per day along with FUZE, propel, plain water, SF jello and broths.  Next Monday, I get to move to stage 2 mushies and I can't wait.

One of the guys who was in my nutrition class said that he will mix a vanilla or chocolate shake up, then put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to help get it cooler and get rid of the sediments in the bottom.  He then takes it out and shakes it again and pours it into something like a freezer safe bowl with a lid.  He then puts that in the freezer until it is good and frozen but not TOO hard.  Then he can eat it like ice cream.  I thought that was a pretty good idea.

I am probably in trouble. I havent had any protein drinks yet. I bought some stuff from GNC but im afraid to drink it. I think its because beneprotein implanted in my head that it will all taste gritty and gross. I guess i need to go make one, but i just think its going to be horrible and cant get over it. I make sure to eat alot of eggs and chicken right now. At least its some protein.

Finally i'm almost healthy again. LOVE IT.

Oh you are in big trouble,  You need to drink some protein  depending on your size you need between 80 to 100 grams a day  and I am sure you can't eat that many,  and if you don't take your Vit. and have your protein your hair is going to fall out,  and Dr. G  will not be happy Good Luck Blessings sandy c
