I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oklahoma?! How long did it take for them to decide whether or not you could have your surgery? If you were denied did they tell you why? My surgeon sent all my paperwork in and now I'm just waiting to hear from the insurance. But i'd kinda like to know usually how long ppl wait, so i dont drive myself cazy worring about it. =]]

have you dont the 6 month dr supervised diet??? if not that will be why they deny you. I have BCBS of Ok and that was the first requirement.

I did a 15 month supervised diet with my PCP and a 3 week protein shake diet with my surgeon. Does the diet with my PCP count or does it have to be overseen by my surgeon?

I HAD BCBS OF OK. IT TOOK ABOUT 6WEEKS. AFTER EVERYTHING WAS MET. Then I found out about a exclusion that our company had. But bcbs was real good.
