I didn't have blood drawn when I went to the pulmonologist.  At the hospital, they apparently drew blood from both wrists when I was under anesthesia because I don't remember it being done.  I had huge bruises on both of my wrists.

Yeah both of mine are bruised today but not too bad.  My left arm was sore all night since it was the one they did the most work on.  But like Patty says, this pain is nothing when thinking about the reward.  it's all going to be worth it.

Well I am glad you have 2 appointments down. I agree ABG's hurt very bad. I am glad I did not have to do them I just did the PFT's. You are well on your way.

WOW! I didn't have to have that one. I'm sorry you went through all that pain. I had a stress test and an idiot cardiologist who couldn't read my scan because I "was too fat." I have always been a very bad blood draw. I passed out in the lab when I had the last bloodwork done prior to surgery. I have to be lying down and practicing my labor breathing from years ago holding on to someone's hand. The sleep test was wonderful as far as the bed..I wanted to take it home with me.However, being severely claustrophobic is a drawback when they came at me with that mask. Yeesh! They say if you're really hydrated, it's easier to get blood. I have 1 good vein in my hand, and the bend of my arm has been accessed twice. My veins float as well. I feel your pain. On the plus side, you're getting closer!
