Another call in the Dr Office Drama

I had talked to the dr office and was told that they are now waiting on medicare/soonercare to call them back. I just hope that they call back soon so I will know something. this is emotionally draining me. I already dont feel good today, allergies.. yuck.. Now I am having to WAIT on a Goverment office.. how depressing is that? I spent hours last night crying because I was so fusterated with the dr office yesterday, i called and left a message and no one returned my call. I am so sick of the waiting. I have never been a patient person. and this is really trying my patience.

I can understand the whole frustration thing.  I want so badly to call my insurance and say "hey, do we have an answer yet?"  but my first appt was only Tuesday so I will wait. Hang in there, it can't be much longer.  And it is ok to scream....that usually helps to if only for a few minutes.

Thats why you keep calling them, my patience is as long as my tally wacker and the last time I looked I didnt have one. Do not let these little wannas be get you down stay focus on the prize, work at losing weight now and before you know it the call will come in...A goof friend of mine had to wait almost 3 years to get approved and she had private insurance...Dont forget you have all of us behind ya.... Well If I have cracked you up my job is half done....it just doesnt make sense how these doctor's office do..Thye advertise how great they are and then poof once you become a patient you are forgotten about if your insurance is not a higher dollar one.

I get so mad at this stuff. I understand that the dr.s offices are busy, but they have NO compassion. Last week my daughter was horribly ill and I called and called and the nurse wouldn't call me back. Finally, I got the office manager on the phone and she was ticked! She says the nurse often does this to "protect" the dr. Protect him from what? Doing his freakin' job?!  I'm sorry you're going through this!

Compassion in all industries is declining and its very sad.  Our parents and grandparents did not raise us to treat others bad and to not care and to be rude.  I still open doors for anyone and its strange how sometimes I get a weird look for it.  Sherrie keep on them and dont let up.  I wish you the best and hope it all comes through for you soon hun.

It is so frustrating to feel like your life is in someone else's hands.  But it's not, not really.  Do what YOU can do today to be healthy and make good food choices.  Try not to give in to your impatience-it just drains your emotions.  Instead, try to do as much as you can to uplift your spirits-we really do have the power to cheer ourselves up.

Thanks ya'll for the encouragement. I really needed it today. I hate having blah days. I am going to call her back on monday if she hasnt heard from them by then I will call them and see why not. the few times I have had to leave a message for soonercare they have called back in a few hours .. hopefully she heard something today. but you would think she would think, "i should call sherrie so she doesnt call me tomorrow." I know i would.. lol.. but then i love to be annoying..lol

Sherri,  Call them back on Monday.  I think thats a great idea, one more week behind you and a new day is coming tomorrow to bug them some more!!!  hehehe  Try to keep your spirits up - it only hinders you when you get frustrated!
