My First WOOHOO Moment (and not the last)

I had to post this as a separate message cause I was just shocked beyond belief.  When I weighed on Feb. 1st at my first consult with Dr. Gorospe I was 420 lbs.  I started really watching what I eat and drinking a LOT more water.  Today I weighed at the cardiologist and I weigh 404.  16 pounds in one month and I haven't even had my surgery yet!!   I was so stoked the nurse commented that I was just grinning from ear to ear.  It certainly made my day.

Okie, Yeah for wow moments, I got my staples out today!  Glad you are losing but let me tell you one bit of advise, scales differ a lot, and the best way to know where you stand is use the same scales everytime.  My doctors scales always shows 8lbs more than mine at home, therefore mine at home are always right! he he AmyBeth

I asked her that and she said their scale self calibrates itself so I just took her word on it.  I can always edit things next time I am at Dr. G's.  Glad you got your stitches out today, I will try to give you a call tomorrow (since I will not be home tonight).

WooHoo... That's great!  I bet cutting out the pop everyday helped also.  I hope you are not having headaches anymore.

Even if the scale at the Cardiologist's office isn't exactly right, you are moving in the right direction.  Congrats! Michelle
You call me a LOSER like it's a bad thing!

Awesome WOW!  I think we can trust the Drs scales more than our own (even if we like what our own say more).  I purchased a digital scale and it is close to the drs scales (no more than 1/2 lb diff). Just look how eating better, cutting out the pop and drinking more water did for you.  Imagine how fast it will come off after surgery! Congratulations!
