OT: Beauty Products

Has anyone ever used that lip plumper lip gloss?? I used this stuff called Too Faced "lip injection" lip gloss and it burned my lips SO BAD!!!  I literally felt like I was getting INJECTIONS around my lips!  My lips got red around them as if I had had injections too!  It did plump my lips though which I thought was kinda neat :o) Then, today I used this: dr. brandt crease release: A patented breakthrough in wrinkle-removing technology, this product relaxes stress and tension in the muscles for an immediate effect and an improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time. by my eyes and now the area I used it on feels like I have ice cubes sitting there.  Is this the price we have to pay for beauty?  lol

I read your post and Laughed.. Not at you but at what it reminded me of... My daughter got new lipstick and it was the plumping kind... she has sensitive skin like me.. she put it on and within 5 minutes she looked like botox gone wrong..lol.. she wasnt as amused as we were... lol.. btw.. I wont wear any plumping stuff.. I am to afraid it will break me out. So at least you have to nerve to try it.

Wow! I'm investigating new stuff. Mary Kay's TimeWise is truly awesome, but I haven't used it since I moved to Edmond..finding a consultant and all that. I have gone back to Clinique, and I know they have wrinkle corrector. More of mine are showing up on my forehead since I've lost the fat that kept them plumped up and not showing as much. Funny thing is, I've started to notice more grey hairs. Not a lot mind you. I can still pull them out..of course, other hair is falling out anyway. Not at a bad pace, and not so much that people can tell...So, when it gets to looking like I have "frost on the roof" I'll go to my hair dresser and say, "Hayley, it's time!" She has promised me that she has a color that will match my red/auburn hair. I'm thinking we'll probably do some blonde highlights since it has blonde, coppery red and brown sort of all blended together.

the stuff I used came from Spalook.com I got a Christmas present from Spalook and a gift card came with it (save $20 off of $30 purchase) and this lip gloss is one of the things I bought. Luckily, I come from good genes on the hair front.  Both of my grandparents (the women) had primarily dark hair when they died in their 80's.  My grandpa on my dad's side died young and my grandpa on my mom's side was white headed. My sister is 9 1/2 years older than me and has very little gray (just one hair here and one there...  You really have to search to find them) so I hope I have another 10 + years before I have to worry about gray hairs!
