I am calling the Dr Office again

At one o clock I am calling the doctors office again. I have given them a break for a week. Everyone cross your fingers, toes and eyes. then say a little prayer that I will get them to turn in my paper work so that I can get on with this!.

If you think it will help I'll be happy to woman the picket line in front of the office.  Maybe a sign "Took MONTHS to turn in paperwork" would be the ticket.

I hope you get it taken care of today.  That is crazy to take so long when you know someone is waiting on the chance of a huge lifestyle change toward better health.  Let us know what you find out.

Well I called. And I think it is good news. She said she had all the paperwork in order and had called the surgeons office cause she had a question about the next step. she was waiting for them to return her call. the surgeons office is usually quick about calling back so it should be done today. I told Meridith that I would talk to her tomorrow. ... lol... ok maybe that was just to make sure she knew I was staying on her.  Thanks for all your well wishes.  I keep telling myself this is the first time they have had to do this for someone on soonercare so its as new to them as it is to me. But as I keep reminding her I can not get a job and support myself until I am physically about and its not happening without this surgery. I am paving the way for the next person that has to go through this process with DR. P. ...  ok, enough rambling.. thanks again for the support... hopefully I will see ya all tomorrow night.

no good news. actually I was told that she was working on it and she had calls to make but be ready to get a lawyer because they dont know of anyone that soonercare or medicaide has paid for. but according to soonercare they are paying for wls and its just a matter of meeting the qualifications. it makes me feel like the dr office thinks why hurry cause i am going to get turned down anyway. well we wont know that until its turned in. its so fusterating. I spent all afternoon crying.. so I didnt want to go to MiMis cause I am feeling so down and weepy. hope ya all have fun.
