should i go to the ER?

Im sitting here in absolute tears. My whole  chest and stomach area burns. Its so intense i wanna die. I have taken 2 nexium's today and it is not helping. Maybe i have an ulcer? eating helps a little but whenever i eat i get sick anyway. Doesnt matter what i eat i get sick. HELP!! I cant take this pain much longer. Since the surgery it has been nothing but hell. I never would have done this surgery if i knew it would be like this.

Yes, If you are in that much pain you should get it checked out. Call your surgeon, he should be able to advise you also. Best of Luck.

Wow, I am so sorry you are feeling terrible, hope you are doing better today.  Let us know what's going on, I wish I could give you some encouragment.  I think we all have had some bad days and said the exact same thing about the surgery.  But it passes, you will get through this.  I will praying for you and good luck. I'm sorry you are experiencing such pain.  I hope you called your surgeon to get this checked out.  Anyone who says this is the easy way out is an idiot.  It is very difficult and especially more so if you have complications.  Take care of yourself and take one day at a time.  I honestly didn't feel better until 1 month out and eating is still an issue.  It's a huge change that is forced upon us.  I hope you are not having complications and that the pain fades away.

I feel a little better today. i cant cant call my surgeon because its the weekend! Im hoping i can make it through today without breaking down in tears. I will keep in touch. Thanks for all the kind words.

Myst- are you feeling any better?  And I know the issues you and I talked about but if you are in that much pain you should not pay attention to what day of the week it is.  Sorry I haven't been around for you this weekend.  I have been so busy with work and grandkids.  Let me know if I can help.  You know my feelings about all this.  I am still working on getting you a better diet list and hopefully I'll be able to send that to you tomorrow.   Big Hug!!  R

They took me off nexium after surgery cause it is time release.  Maybe your medicine isnt working for you.

Yes you should go to the ER. Don't take any chances.
