Getting discouraged
Hi! I just wanted you to know I understand how you feel. I am six months out and have gone from 278 to 153 now. It is slowing wayyyyyyy down...but my Doc says that is normal when you get close to goal. It is important to keep up the protein, water, and exercise. His goal for me is 145, but my goal is 132. I have a good 20-25 lbs. of belly skin to be removed, so he says at 145 and after skin removal, I will be in 120s. You have to remember that things like water retention around your time of month, if you are constipated, all of that can make a big difference when you weigh. One day, I weighed myself in the am, and that same night, went back again to the gym. After a good potty (lol gross I know but it is true) I had lost four pounds...lol!! Salt is also a big enemy...it helps you retain lots of water weight. One of the ladies told me that once a month for five days she goes on just the protein, water and vitamins, no solids. I have tried it twice and I lost over 5 lbs. both times! So, maybe try that. Hope I helped a little...Lord knows I am no expert, just a good learner from lots of trials and errors!! GOOD LUCK!
