Getting discouraged
At 7 months out weight loss has slowed down. I know I should be happy that I am down 110lbs but I want it to keep going. (It is still going down just very very slow). At least it is not going up. I have stepped up my protien and my water so I hope this helps. Anyone else find it slowing down after sometime? Is it not too soon to slow down?

I dont know specifically about RNY since i had Lapband but Dr. Gornichec did tell me as my BMI gets lower the weight will come off slower. He told me i would have to up the exercise . Dont get discouraged , you have come so far , you should be very proud !!!!! We just have to keep going , you will make it!!!!

I'm very discouraged too. I'm 2 weeks from being 3 mos out and it seems as everything has stopped. I can't get over the 200# mark. My scale has been reading 200 for the last 2 weeks. Everyone keeps telling me I've lost 70# - be happy. But I'm not. Just plain and simple.. I'm ready to lose more I wonder if its a plateu or something else. I wanted the scales to read in the 1's but its just not happening.....
I guess I should have said something happy and positive..... My mother lost from 272 down to 117 and has been there for the last 4 1/2 yrs. I know if I think about it the last bit of weight came off slowly. however, I do remember going to see her after a couple of weeks and it really would show. So, don't get discouraged - I'm sure it will still come off! Remember to keep drinking your water between meals! - See you @ MiMi's Wednesday!! -Sandy
Yes, mine has slowed down allot. Next week will be the start of my 7th month and I'm down 105 pounds. I've only lost 5 pounds in the past 3 weeks. I liked it better when I saw BIG numbers. I am very proud of loosing 105 pounds this far out but I'm ready to start loosing a bit faster now.
Hang in there....

I'm 4 months out and have hit 2 plateaus already. It's frustrating hitting the scale and seeing the same number. However, when it finally drops it drops well. I haven't weighed myself in nearly 3 weeks..I only weigh at the doctor's office because the are the only scales I know are true. Also, I don' t own any on purpose because I'd probably be on them every day.
