How are my okie friends this week?

I am still very sore from surgery but I am coping.....  I see the Dr friday hoping for a good visit!!!

I am fine, stayed home tonight because of the weather.  Was looking forward to the meeting, but I don't like wet/cold weather and possible slick roads. I am sure you will notice your left side being more sore than anywhere else and that is normal.  In fact I was still having muscle pull type pains at my 2 mos appt.  It is gone now and I am not sure when it actually stopped.  Guess I only notice when it hurt!

Ohhhhh yeah already do.  Good thing I like to sleep on my right side.  If I lay on my left it messes with whatever is wrong with my back.  I am also all one big bruise on the left side so I kinda figured that is where he did all the work through.

 

I dont like to drive in that stuff either.  I plan to be at next months meeting.  Hopefully I will get to meet those of you that attend.

Sassy, I am doing great this week. Glad to hear you are doing well. You will probably stay sore 3-4 weeks, and possibly have some terrible pain at times on that left side. Your biggest incision on that side is where all the manipulation of the surgery is done. The staple gun also goes in that site. Occassionaly I would get a sharp stabbing pain. Don't be alarmed unless it just doesn't go away. Hang in there it will get better. Best of Luck, Rita

Gee thanks Rita now I am having pains in my left side just thinking about it, lol.    just teasing. Sassy I hope all is going smooth for ya.  I am going to go get a new recliner from Sam's Club today.  Since my bed is so lopsided #1 and I don't even have a frame for it right now #2 I would have to say it wouldn't be the best place for me to be sleeping post op.

Okie, It will feel good when it quits hurting. LOL  That recliner sounds comfy. Wish I had one.

I was so hoping to go to the meeting too!!!!!!!!!!  Okie and I had it all planned out and was so excited since this Friday will be one year since surgery!  Oh well next month I will so meet you guys, anyone planning the dinner on the side thing again? AmyBeth

Yeah we are getting together on the 27th...you should come up.  I sear if the weather is bad that night I am taking a baseball bat and I am going to go visit ol man winter, and its not going to be pretty.
