ONDERLAND

I WANTED TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE - I MADE ONDERLAND AND HAVE STAYED UNDER FOR THE LAST WEEK, I AM SO EXCITED.  HOW THRILLING it was to see those sweet numbers.    I opened up the windows today and cleaned the house, even  mopped the floors, haven't had this much energy in years.  Felt great getting so much accomplished.  Just wished I had a clothes line, today seemed nice enough to put some laundry outside.  I use to love that smell, anyone know what I am talking about?   Hubby and I are just sitting here watching television together.  Son is playing basketball and daughter has gone to the movies.  Just the two of us, it's kind of hard to realize  that this is how it's going to be from  now on.  Our daughter got her license last week and she's the baby of the family.  It's kind  of strange not being needed.   Hope everyone got to enjoy this wonderful weather.  My friend Kathy and  I did our 2 mile walk today, it felt great.  She is getting ready to go on a cruise on Wednesday, I am so happy for her.   At next month's Integris support meeting, a psychotherapist is going to be speaking, it's on t he first Saturday of the month.  Luanne and  I are planning on going and going out to eat after that.  Let me know if anyone else might be interested.   Take care everyone and enjoy every day. Thank you Rita, it is exciting to be in ONDERLAND, thank you for the kinds words.   Yeah I know about the kids always needing us, just sometimes it sure doesn't feel like it.  But I know I still need my mom in my life, and that's what I am going to go do now, is go call her,  lol.  Thanks for the reply.   Brenda

Six weeks, wow you are doing so great.  So what are some of your wows??  I would love to hear a few they motivate me.  Again congrats!!

No, not six weeks, 3 1/2 months and it has been so exciting.  My wow's, there has been a lot of them, finally when I went to go buy me some new clothes at Kohls one day, I grabbed the size 18's, and they swallowed me, had to get a 16, bought them, brought them home and realized I probably should have tried a 14 on, yep, I was in size 22 pants.  I can even get into an XL shirt.  It's so exciting, I can also walk up to 2 miles without dying.  Smaller bra size, wooohooo, lol.   Saw my reflection in the freezer section the other day, and actually liked what I saw.  Told my daughter to look, lol.   I can fit better behind the wheel of my car, my shoes are too big too, my feet have lost weight too.   There is just so m any, but the one thing is I feel so much better.  Seriously, I know those wow moments sound in vain, but they aren't, it all boils down to that I feel so much b etter, have a lot more energy than before too.   Thanks for the comment and good luck in your journey. Diana, It looks like your doing great too- are you feeling better?  I find I don't want to wear tight clothes, is that strange?  I like the loose feeling.  Can't seem to spend money on clothes I won't be in for very long.  Have a great night and good luck on your journey. Brenda
