THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
Hi, Did you happen to meet with Chris or Jessica the dieticians while you were at weight wise? They have numerous diets to choose from to best meet your needs. Hey great choice by the way. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist at the hospital. I had the lap RNY in December. You will love it here. Anyway, Chris is my dietician and on my first visit she gave me a diet, and I pretty much went by that(with a few exceptions****il surgery. I had six months to do it in though, so that made it somewhat easier. Good Luck and if I can be of any help, please let me know.

Welcome to the board.
Focus on making good food choices. If you are having WLS "watching what you eat" isn't working for you. Get a list of what you can have from your doctor. I'm a proponent of making changes pre surgery that will set you up for success after sugery-and that is learning to make healthy choices. Several people on this board have been successful with WW as a pre diet-Wynotha is a great example.
I don't know Dr. B, but I would be he wants you to lose 17 pounds in a healthy responsible way so that you are in good shape going in to the surgery.
I'm glad your PCP is supporting you-that is a huge plus and makes the process a lot smoother.
Remember, the pre diet is hard, but once you have your surgery, you will have a tool to help you get to goal.
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
