Was it til you started to notice a difference in your clothing?  How soon did you have to start buying new cloths?

I had some friends who helped out and gave me some of their hand me downs, but I didn't really start buying until my undies quit fitting!!! And my bras!!   I did a lot of drawstring stuff for a little while and believe it or not, I am still using my old nightgowns.  They are BIG OLE TENTS now but they still work!!! R

I needed new clothes by the 3rd month.  Now I buy them about every 2 months.  Since the weight loss has slowed down a bit I might be able to go longer.  I decided I was not going to buy anymore clothes until spring.

I have about 5 years worth of old clothes in my closet that are like my motivation once I get on the losing side.  I open the closet all the time saying "Man I cant wait to get back into that shirt"

I have been taking my clothes in for weeks now.  I have smaller clothes I can go to soon and then...who knows...  I hear a lot of people go to Goodwill for clothes because they shrink so fast.  I not sure how that would work...but I know I can't afford new clothes every month!!!

I've gone down 2 sizes in 2 mos.  Luckily, my mother was smaller than me and has been losing weight herself, so I get her clothes that are too big for her but right for me.  Once I go down another size, on my own.  I have altered as much as I can using my sewing machine.  Will be hitting thrift stores soon, don't really want to spend much until I get to goal. Still using old night gowns.  Have had to buy 2 new bras and the panties are about to fall off, so that will be next purchase.  Waiting for taxes.

Thank God last spring I hit Cato and Fashion Bug and bought on major sales!  Cause yes I changed sizes fast and even bought things that I passed up and never got to wear! AmyBeth

Hey Cindy I wanted to tell you I met your co-worker today.  Her daughter was the 9 am appointment and I was the 10 am appointment so we sat and talked a lot in the waiting room.

Sorry I didn't catch her name.  She has had the surgery and said one of her daughters has had it and now her second daughter is in the process.
