Dr. Phil
I am glad Dr Phil didnt knock the surgery. I have his book and have read it a few times. He has some really good mental prep stuff in it that would be good for anyone to read who is in the process of losing weight, reguardless what the means. There are also some really good high protein meals in the book.
Which Dr.Phil book are you talking about? I have started Self Matters, just haven't finished it yet.
I always tivo it and watch it the next day, I am addicted. lol. I saw the show yesterday and heard what he said about gastric bypass not being the easy way out, and believe me it wasn't easy and it still isn't, but sometimes I still feel guilty. Not sure where that is coming from. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Brenda
Hey did ya all know Dr Phil is from Oklahoma? I beleive he was born in Vinita.. wow.. worlds largest Mc D and Dr P! Makes me so proud to be from Vinita.. lol.. Ok .. not really.
I didnt see that show but I have watched alot of his shows. He is confusing sometimes. He doesnt give people on his show any respect and he doesnt really help them find solutions, everything is kinda left up in the air. .. thats my opinion, the thing that burns me about him he will be totally rude to someone about thier weight.. when he is sitting there on the chunky side!
I got tired of Dr. Phil and started watching Ellen instead. I think I read about the show in the paper so decided to watch it. Dr. Phil gets kind of loud and he's worn out "What were you thinking!!!" and "How's that working for you?". Ellen is more positive and cheerful but sometimes I get a little tired of her too. I don'****ch every day.
