3 Month Surgiversary

Well, it's been three months to the day I had my re-birthday.  I remember thinking back then, I can't wait until I get "whatever" time out.  It has been a wild ride!  I am officially down 47 pounds and 2 sizes in clothes.  What a trip.  I feel great too.  Other that my little "hiccup" of having to go back into surgery 4 days post op, everything has gone wonderful.  Can you tell I'm happy.  Everyone says I glow now.  To all those who are still pre-op, it will happen for you too.  It seems like the time has just flown by.  I guess I have to change my avatar since I have lost 79 pounds since I took that pic.  Thanks everyone, for your support! In reference to your last sentence I had to look at you twice before it dawned on me you were who you are.  You already look different in just 3 months.  It was nice to get to meet you the other night and hear your story.  Probably not next time but definitely in 2 months I will be on the losers side with all of you.  I cant wait.

Hi Michelle Great job!!   and yes, you need to change you avatar, I didn't recognize you last Wednesday. I agree you are glowing and you look so beautiful and full of energy ;-)    I'm sure that you will get to goal very soon.   Congrats!! Lis

I would have to say I saw the glow the other evening.  Isn't it wonderful how good we feel after finally loosing weight.  My 3 mos with be Feb 26th and since it is also my birthday month, figure I will treat myself to some (not much) shopping as everything is just falling off me.  Thank goodness my Mom was a couple sizes smaller than me, so I am getting hand me downs from her to keep clothes on!  I have had to go by GoodWill to pick up few things, don't want to spend alot on things I will have to give away again. I love that we can have our own support group here in Tulsa as well.
