Cadiologist (sp?)
Wow - that sounds much easier than mine, but then I already had an established heart condition! My original appointment was the EKG and I also went a few days later for a heart scan - I chose the scan instead of doing the treadmill again since I was so heavy and the first time I almost collapsed!!
Just remember that part of going through all the tests is to make sure you are able to have a successful surgery. Any tests that the surgeon recommends is based upon the need to ensure you are a good candidate for surgery and that they have all the information they need so that they are not surprised by anything. I think it is a sign of a well prepared surgeon to ensure that all the appropriate testing is done and reviewed prior to surgery! Sometimes it seems like a bunch of "bunk" testing, but it also gives you a benchmark for where you are and where you need to go physically.
Good luck! Don't worry!
