18 days and counting.  Tomorrow early morning I head back to Tulsa, have to go to the sleep center for consult at 9 am and then spend the day lofing and back to the sleep center at 930pm for my sleep study.  Only because I didnt go for a check-up last year are they making me do it again.  Wanna make sure my machine is where it needs to be.   Any ways off to work I will check the forums throughout the day though.  Hope you are all having a wonderful day!!!! Hugs ~Cindy~

That's interesting...  I'm getting my CPAP machine tomorrow.  They were supposed to come two weeks ago, but no one showed up and never called.....  UGH  I made my bed for NOTHING! Anyway, they finally called to reschedule, and tomorrow is my day!  I have a feeling I'm not going to like that thing, but I do hope it helps me get some sleep.  I'm so sick of being TIRED all the time! I don't know if I told you all my results or not, but I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea which means my oxygen levels drop.  My oxygen saturation dropped as low as 71% and I had bradycardia (Slow heart rate) during the episodes!  Kinda scary!

MIne was the same thing except the word severe was in front of it.  At first I tried to sleepwith the machine and at night I wouldnt remember but I would take it off and find it next to me in bed.  So they had me doing a training routine to get used to it.  The first few days I set my alarm every 2 hours to make sure it was on.  Once I went 4 days with keeping it on I moved it to 3 hours and then 4 til I was finally sleeping through the night with it.   Then I had a problem with my mouth hurting the next morning.  Thought maybe my teeth were bad so I went to the dentist and that wasnt it.  I have a small face and small bridge on my nose so the mask dont fit me too well.  I was having to wear it really tight to keep from having leak.  FINALLY, I switched to just the nose mask and its way better!   It takes time but you do feel better the next day, it was depressing especially since I am a newlywed so i have been fighting having to wear it. My husband works midnight to 8am, so its a little better.  Something wierd for me right now is, I have a bad back and need major surgery on it again.  Well I tough the pain out during the day but to get any sleep I have to take a pain pill. I usually lay down and rest with hubby from like 9-1030, on the nights I take my pain meds I remember him kissing me bye.  He never knows when I do or dont take them but the nights that I dont take the pain pill I dont even remember him getting up or kissing me bye.  I have been told that it was due to the apenea went we are in sleeping we do things and dont realize we do them.  I dunno, ?   Anyways, good luck with the new machine it looks scarier then it is!
