support groups in tulsa area

i am looking for supportmeeting groupsarouns my area i live in jenks any help?

Surgical Associates of Tulsa has a regular meeting the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Natalie Building on Yale, around 51st.  They also have a meeting for those who are 6 months out or more at the Surgical Associates office at: 6465 S Yale, Ste 900, in Tulsa.  They are in the _____ building.  I can't remember what building they are in, but I'll find out, and post it for you! Dr Gorospe has his support group meetings on the second Monday of each month so this Monday coming up will be one.  They are held at Bailey Medical in Owasso.  I think its at 6 or 6:30 need to check again and make sure.  I havent had surgery yet but I have been to a couple of his meetings in the last 2 years and they always have a good turnout.

Dr. Gorospe's meetings start at 6:30 until 8:30.  Then allot of people go out for dinner afterwards.

I live in Jenks also.  Who did your surgery?  Would anyone else be interested in creating a support group that is not associated with a surgeon's group?  I think it would be interesting to see the differences, similarities...etc of the different surgeons.  I would love to get together with other WLS folks!  Just an idea. I like the idea too. I live in Salina so it is only 1 hour from Tulsa. My Dr is in OKC 3 hours away I would love to be able to go to all the support meetings but it is so hard to go that far. Tressa

We did meet one time at the Promanad Mall. but seems we havent been able to get together again. I think we should set up a time and place to meet. If we can get regular meetings set up maybe we can get special speakers if ya all want. We need someone to take charge. any suggestions? who wants the job? ... NOT ME.. I will help all I can  I am just not good at organizing.

I am all for doing this as well, any night but Thursday (hey Grey's and LOST are on that night and I dont have Tivo)
