surgery on friday 01/11/08

Dr. Warnock is my Dr. When do you think I will get to come home. Like sunday.

Usually with a RNY it is a 2 night stay. Best of luck to you.You will be so glad once it is all over. I know I was.

I would say Sunday mid morning, he will release you to the Rathgeber House and then home on Monday.  I had Surgery on Wed, then to the house on Friday and then I could have come home on Sat.  But I stayed for my NUT class on Monday. 

Oh my goodness, Dr. Warnock is my Dr. as well.  He's fabulous!  My surgery was on a Friday also, and from my experience, and I had absolutely no problems, I was released on Sunday to go over to the Rothgaber House, and I'm sure he will want you to do the same.  It's a beautiful place, and totally worth the few dollars for the stay.  My husband and I left here on Thursday afternoon for the last of the tests at the hospital and stayed at the Rothgaber House on Thursday night as well.  Please please check into it before you get there, you will be quite relieved.  If all goes well and you stay at the Rothgaber, Dr. Warnock will come see you on Monday morning and if you are managing ok, he will relase you to go home.  He just prefers that you are close that extra night just incase you should have any problems, and quite honestly, it's a good idea, you won't feel much like traveling .  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!  Congratulations and Good Luck! I really needed to be released on Sunday. Husband cant miss another day at work to bring the kids to me. Then I am off to fort worth until I am completly healed. ACK!!!

I just wanted to say good luck on your surgery.  I was in the hospital for 2 days and then went home.
